The Kinning Park Complex resides at 43 Cornwall Street, Glasgow. The building was designed by Master of Work’s Samuel Preston. Petitioned by the Govan School Board in April 1911 as an addition to Lambhill Public School which was built in the 1870’s(now the adjacent nursing home).

The building was used as the Science block of Lambhill Public School into the 1950's. The images above show girls taking part in Domestic Science classes c.1955 and secretarial studies. These old class rooms are now resident to artists and musicians at the Kinning Park Complex who rent them as studio spaces. The structure of the rooms in these pictures are still quite visible today; the building hasn't changed much.
